They were lovingly developed for family, shared around dinner tables, at grand family feasts, church functions, and community gatherings, where every dish was made with love and enjoyed in togetherness.
At the very heart of this enduring legacy are Father Isileli and Mother Fane, whose profound passion for family, hospitality, and good food helped shape the rich traditions we proudly carry forward today. Together with our children, Sapate, Rouna, Psalm, Jeremiah, and JR, we continue this heartwarming tradition.

A special family memory
One of the most cherished memories that perfectly encapsulates what God's Grace BBQ in Munro's Kitchen is all about takes me back to our vibrant family gatherings when I was growing up. Every single special occasion—whether it was a birthday celebration, a church event, a joyous wedding, or simply family coming together—always seemed to culminate around the BBQ and in the heart of the kitchen.
My father, Isileli, would be meticulously busy preparing the succulent meat, while my mother, Fane, made sure everyone was abundantly fed and warmly welcomed. The food itself was incredibly important, but what truly made those moments special was witnessing everyone laughing heartily, sharing wonderful stories, and profoundly enjoying each other's precious company.
As children, Sapate, Rouna, Psalm, Jeremiah, JR, and I learned that cooking was far more than just preparing a meal. It was intrinsically about serving people, genuinely showing love, and beautifully bringing families together. We watched our parents graciously open their home to relatives, friends, church members, and even strangers who, through their hospitality, became family around the table.
That spirit is what inspired God's Grace BBQ in Munro Kitchen.
